pre-negotiated volume purchasing contracts which allow
us to buy at the best prices available. We can also
get access to (or put in place) any special bids through
HP, IBM, Toshiba, Fujitsu, Sony, etc to ensure that
we are always competitive. In addition we also continually
monitor our operational costs to ensure that we remain
a lean operation to ensure we can offer consistently
competitive prices and not just “loss-leaders”
or “low introductory offers”. In saying
all of this price is not all that we are about - what
is really important to SHD Technology is that you
will receive the best level of service that we can
offer. That’s what will add value to your business,
drive you to recommend us to others and ensure you
remain a happy loyal customer.
A standard request for a quotation will be provided
within one hour, obviously any complex or detailed
quotations or proposals requiring investigation work
will be discussed individually and will be completed
ASAP.
These service levels along with our stock holding
and EDI links to most major distributors enables us
to maintain constantly up to date stock information
on over £450m of stock and offer next day delivery
(and even same day if urgently required) on most products
with ordering cut off time up to and sometimes even
past 5pm.

purchase but also provide ongoing support and full
problem ownership. This service is available UK wide
(plus Ireland and certain parts of Europe) on a 4
hour, 8 hour and next business day fix basis (that
is a guaranteed fix-time, not just an on-site response
time) with 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, or office
hours only cost options. Each Solution is designed
around your requirements and can be tailored with
mixed requirements on a single contact (i.e. servers
on a 4 hour fix, PCs and printers on next day and
laptops return to base with on-site spares made available).
This support is offered through a dedicated business
partnership with a large support organisation, often
used directly by HP, IBM, etc to support their warranty
calls.
We are able to offer a full range of technical solutions
including configuration, installation, pre-building,
testing (including DOA testing) and imaging of servers
desktops and laptops, image management, asset tagging,
deliver to desk solutions and e-business projects

Spending working capital or
borrowing money are not always the most desirable
options for financing your computing investment. SHD
