Sales Account Executive:
As a fast growing network and business solutions
provider, we are searching for an exceptional IT
sales executive / New business development executive
that has the drive and ambition to succeed.
Responsibilities
- To sell, primarily by telephone, Vendor products
and services to customers, maintaining and improving
on revenue and profit, whilst maintaining the highest
standards of customer service.
- Initiate proactive outgoing sales calls to seek
new business opportunities.
- Receive incoming customer calls in-line with required
service levels: taking customer orders, provide
information on product availability, special offers,
provide pricing and quotations to customers.
- Maintain and improve product knowledge & market
knowledge.
- Cold calling is involved
Skills/Experience:
- Good sales commercial and communication skills.
- Excellent telephone and customer service skills.
- Excellent proactive telephone and customer service
skills.
- Computer literate. Interested in IT Knowledge
and/or reseller market is an asset.
- Team Player.

Enterprise Sales Account Manager:
The ideal individual for this role will have worked
within the reseller community and have a strong,
demonstrable track record of winning new business
as well as developing and growing accounts.
The most successful Sales Executives within SHD
have a “relationship” style of selling
and whilst they are focused and very highly motivated,
they have an ability to quickly build and develop
business relationships with their prospective clients.
The initial focus of the role (the first 6-12 months)
will require a high level of new business activity.
This will be focused on cold calling campaign/launch
driven leads. The gradual conversion of these leads
into accounts will then require the sales person’s
mentality to shift towards “account management”
and “relationship development”. The
retention of the developed accounts is unusual and
requires greater flexibility during the sales process
than that usually demonstrated by the typical reseller
sales executive. The identification of the relationship
based sales skills will be a key factor in assessing
the suitability of a potential candidate for the
shortlist.
It is expected that the successful candidate will
be highly motivated, very professional and committed.
It is unlikely that anyone moving employments frequently
will be suitable as many of the skills required
are based around the ability to develop long term
relationships.
The individual will also have demonstrated working
in a team environment, as the support surrounding
the Sales team is very strong, and their input has
proven fundamental in the attraction of new customers
and the retention of existing customers.
